Gold Ore

Gold Ore is a mineral-rich rock bearing visible veins of native gold, mined from the deeper rock formations of Starsand Island. Unlike the pure Gold material which represents already-separated metal, Gold Ore is the raw rock form that must be processed at a furnace to extract its precious contents. Gold ore deposits are rarer than common metals like copper or iron, making each vein a noteworthy discovery.

Gold Ore is smelted into Gold Ingots, which then feed into sheets, wires, and high-value crafting components. Players who locate gold ore deposits should mine them thoroughly, as gold is in consistent demand throughout the game's crafting progression and is difficult to stockpile in large quantities given its relative rarity.
