Apprentice Angler Certification

The Apprentice Angler Certification is the entry-level qualification quest for the Fishing profession in Starsand Island. Issued by the Fishing mentor, it challenges players to demonstrate basic angling proficiency by catching a required set of fish species or reaching a specific fishing milestone. Earning this certification establishes the player as an official Apprentice Angler and formally enters them into the fishing profession's ranking system.

Completing the Apprentice Angler Certification unlocks access to new fishing locations, bait types, and equipment upgrades, as well as progress toward the Junior Angler tier. For players who want to catch all 131+ fish species in the game, this certification is an essential early step that opens up the full depth of Starsand Island's expansive fishing system. Cast a line often and diversify the species you catch to meet the certification requirements quickly.
