The Fishing profession is Starsand Island's aquatic career path, covering fish, traps, ponds, ocean zones, and aquatic resources. Mentored by Delphin, it unlocks after completing the Apprentice Crafter certification and opens up one of the game's most expansive and varied content systems. With over 130 fish species spread across ocean, river, lake, and specialized exotic zones — including the Celestewave, Luminwave, Coral Sea, Spiritshade River, and Spore Cascade — the Fishing profession offers hundreds of hours of content for completionists and casual anglers alike.

Fishing tiers unlock progressively more powerful equipment and zones: Apprentice Angler starts with the Wooden Fishing Rod and basic zones; Junior unlocks upgraded rods and fish traps; Intermediate unlocks the Chrono Rod and access to deeper ocean zones; Senior unlocks rare bait recipes and premium fishing equipment; and Expert Angler earns the Expert Angler title and the game's final fishing unlocks, including access to the most remote and challenging fishing environments on the island.
