Wool

Wool is a soft, crimped natural fiber sheared from sheep and other woolly animals kept on Starsand Island's ranches. Each shearing yields a fleece of interlocking fibers that, when spun, produce a warm, elastic yarn unlike any plant fiber. Wool's natural insulating properties and dyeability make it one of the most valued textile raw materials on the island.

Wool is spun into Wool Yarn at a spinning wheel, which then goes into clothing, upholstery, and textile crafting. Sheep and Alpacas are the primary sources, and regular shearing keeps both animals happy and productive. Players who invest in a woolly flock will find themselves well-supplied for the textile system's mid-game requirements without needing to rely heavily on plant fiber crops.
