Musk

Musk is a rich, aromatic substance harvested from musk deer raised on Starsand Island. In the real world, natural musk has been prized for millennia as the foundation of fine perfumes and traditional medicines, and on Starsand Island it carries similar prestige. The refined material extracted from a Musk Cocoon retains an intense fragrance that sets it apart from any other animal product.

Musk is used in crafting luxury goods, special consumables, or high-tier items that require rare aromatic components. It may be valued as a gift by certain island characters with discerning tastes, and its rarity means it commands a high sell price on the open market. Players who invest in musk deer husbandry will find Musk to be one of their most profitable recurring outputs.
