Machete

The Machete is an advanced chopping tool crafted at Worktable II or III that unlocks the ability to harvest Premium Wood, a high-value resource required for advanced crafting and construction. Broader and more powerful than the basic Axe, the Machete's heavy blade is designed to cut through dense hardwoods that resist lighter tools. It also functions as a melee weapon, dealing solid damage in combat situations.

Crafting the Machete is a key milestone that opens access to Premium Wood-dependent recipes and structures. Players who want to build upgraded facilities or craft higher-tier items will need a Machete to source the necessary lumber. Its dual role as both a harvesting tool and a combat weapon also makes it a practical choice for players who move between resource gathering and exploration without frequently swapping equipment.
