Axe

The Axe is the entry-level wood-chopping tool in Starsand Island, crafted at Worktable I from stone and basic materials. Used to fell trees and collect logs, it is one of the first tools players craft and a cornerstone of early resource gathering. Wood is required for constructing buildings, crafting furniture, and fueling production chains, making the Axe an indispensable part of island life from day one.

The standard Axe handles common wood types found in early-game areas but is eventually replaced by the Machete for chopping Premium Wood. As players progress through the crafting tree at Worktable II and III, more powerful chopping tools become available, but the Axe remains a dependable starter tool for clearing forests and stockpiling lumber in the opening hours of gameplay.
