Gold Wire

Gold Wire is an ultra-fine strand of drawn gold metal, crafted from Gold Ingots or Gold Sheets on Starsand Island. Gold's exceptional electrical conductivity and resistance to corrosion make it the ideal material for precision wiring in high-end electronic and mechanical devices. On the island, gold wire represents the pinnacle of metal working finesse, requiring a high level of crafting progression to produce.

Gold Wire is a component in advanced tools, devices, and high-tier equipment that require conductive wiring — such as the High-Performance Wire Set and other precision crafted items. Players who have reached the gold-working tier of crafting should keep a small stock of gold wire on hand for the recipes that specifically demand its unique conductive properties.
