Carbon Line

Carbon Line is a high-strength, lightweight cord or filament crafted from carbon-rich materials on Starsand Island. Carbon fibre and carbon-based materials are renowned in the real world for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, making them the material of choice for high-performance fishing equipment, aerospace components, and precision tools. On the island, Carbon Line is a key component in the best fishing rods and other advanced implements.

Carbon Line is used in the crafting of high-tier fishing rods such as the Chrono Rod, as well as other precision equipment that benefits from an ultra-strong, thin line. Players who want to upgrade their fishing gear to catch the island's rarest fish will find Carbon Line an essential crafting material, and should work toward unlocking the recipes that produce it.
