Wheat

Wheat is a golden grain crop harvested from mature wheat stalks grown in Starsand Island's farmland. One of the oldest cultivated grains in human history, wheat's nutritional density and milling versatility have made it the foundation of agriculture everywhere it can grow. On the island, fields of ripening wheat signal a well-established farming operation.

Wheat is milled into Flour, which then goes into bread, noodles, dumplings, pastries, and a huge range of cooked dishes. It is the single most important crop for players pursuing cooking as a major activity, and maintaining a large, well-tended wheat field is one of the best investments any islander can make in their kitchen capabilities.
