Rapeseed

Rapeseed is a bright-flowering oil crop cultivated in Starsand Island's fields, recognizable by its cheerful yellow blooms during the growing season. The tiny, round seeds packed into the plant's pods contain a high concentration of vegetable oil, making rapeseed one of the most economically significant oil crops a farmer can grow.

Rapeseed is pressed into Cooking Oil, providing an alternative oil source to soybeans. Players who want to maintain a reliable oil supply without relying on a single crop will benefit from growing both rapeseed and soybeans, ensuring that seasonal gaps in one crop don't interrupt the cooking oil production that so many recipes depend on.
