Mirthshroom

Mirthshroom is a fantastical, mood-lifting fungus unique to Starsand Island's magical ecosystem. Its cap shimmers with an iridescent sheen and it emits a faint, pleasant aroma that seems to lift the spirits of anyone nearby — an effect that carries through into the dishes it is used to prepare. Unlike common mushrooms, Mirthshrooms are rarer and more deliberately sought.

Mirthshrooms are the key ingredient in Mirthshroom Soup, and likely appear in other mood-boosting or special-effect dishes throughout the recipe book. Their magical properties make dishes cooked with them more potent than ordinary mushroom preparations, rewarding players who locate their spawn spots and harvest them regularly with access to uniquely effective consumables.
