Hemp

Hemp is a fast-growing, fibrous plant harvested across Starsand Island's wilder areas or cultivated in farm plots. The stalks are packed with long, tough bast fibers that run the length of the plant, and the leaves and seeds offer additional utility — making hemp one of the most versatile raw plant materials available to island crafters.

Raw Hemp is processed into Hemp Fiber, which then feeds into rope, cloth, and textile production. Keeping a ready supply of Hemp — either through foraging routes or a dedicated crop plot — is advisable from early in the game, as many essential mid-game crafting chains run on hemp-derived materials.
